Makes excellent crepes, and quick work of it! When I first started using it there was an uneven cook, creating a brown ring right where (I assume) one of the heating elements is. So I started to let it fully heat up (you can hear it click off, about a minute or two). I then turn it off, wait 1-2 sec, and then dip it. The crepe will fully cook with the unit off, resulting in perfect crepes every time! If you’ve ever made these using the upside down pan method, or just regular frying pan, once you try this machine you will NEVER go back!!!!

Exactly as advertised. I was totally skeptical but it worked perfectly. They turned out great and the kids had fun making them.

Easy to use and clean. Use any basic pancake mix with roughly 20-30% more liquid to get the proper consistency. Ignore the instructions that come with the unit saying to oil the surface. If you add oil to the surface the batter will not stick to the unit and you will end up with a lumpy nasty mess instead of thin well formed crepes.

After enjoying crepes at a local French crepey, I decided to just go ahead and buy my own crepe cooker. This is a nifty gadget that works perfectly and with a little butter, is completely stock free. Good purchase.
